And then there are days like these

There are days when you may feel as wise as the Buddha; when all is calm and everything is clear. Then there are days like these – when the best that you can do, is to acknowledge that you have the mental and emotional capacity of a flea, hunker down and wait for the storm to pass (whilst hoping that as little damage as possible has been wrought).

And lo, today was one of those days.

Missy M and I were in moods that were a perfect reflection of each other. So we snuggled up in bed at 3pm with iPads and laptops, and tried to say as little as possible.

Tomorrow morning I will poke my head out from the duvet and hope to see light streaming though the thunder clouds.

Night night,

  1. Today, I went to the beach with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell
to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic
but I had to tell someone!

Wonderful story and something you can share together as she grows – thank you for sharing!
